All surveys certificates are countersigned by respective crew member in charge (Master/Chief Officer/Chief Engineer) confirming the seriousness of survey performed.

BQS - Bunker Quantity Survey
Measurement of all vessel’s and/or barges tanks before and after reception/delivery of products (FO/DO) to determine the actual quantity received/supplied followed by respective oil sampling/sealing from vessel’s manifold.
Inspection of cargo compartments to check it’s cleanliness and coating condition prior to load and determine whether it’s fit or not to received next intended cargoes.
Cargo separation follow-up and empty space measurements
Follow up of cargo separation and survey to certify that separation task was made in satisfactory/standard conditions to receive the next intended cargo followed by empty spaces measurements (when required).
Condition survey of vessel’s hull, weather deck, cargo compartments, handling gear as well as sounding of all ship’s tanks to determine the bunkers remaining on board and also ascertain figures on relevant delivery / re-delivery time.
Inspection at ship’s hatches and manholes to prevent water ingress and/or determine whether hatch cover joints have leakages that needs to be repaired to protect cargo integrity.
